Does it make sense to have a "compound" userStatus?

Should userStatus be something like:
  - onboarding
  - onboarding:demo
---
  - live
  - live:cancelled
  - live:unpaid
  - live:out-of-credits
---
  - banned

Some of them feel like "sub-status". Also the leftmost part controls their access in the app, and the rightmost part, where to send them
