Texture transparency issues in FRU arena?

I got motivated enough by the new ultimate to redo FRU exports using your updated ZoneFbx: kotarou3/ffxiv-arena-images@9e65787

But it looks like there's some transparency issues with fru/p4.png? Anything I'm doing wrong, or it's just not working?
p4.png and p6.png are also missing the base "grid" texture that's underneath the fancy magic circles, probably due to same transparency issues

(also I noticed the workbench flat texture renderer doesn't work on the P1 arena - just results in a black, which I'm wondering if it's intentional or not)

Could you show me what settings you used and the names of the objects that are visible in your p4/p6 images? The extracts I'm doing on my end are actually missing the magic circles

Ah, I figured it out, you have the lightshaft models enabled. When I initially added these, I thought these were only for light shafts or weird map effects so I always had them disabled when exporting. I didn't know they actually used them for arena markings on maps. I have an idea on how to make them transparent so I'll get a release to fix this out soon if it's as simple as I think it is

I probably need to think about this a little bit more. Need to gather more info on how the game handles the other lightshaft models. I'm also not entirely sure how the game calculates the alpha for lightshaft models with colors other than white. All I know about it right now is pure black = completely transparent.

Anyway, the actual grid that you mentioned were missing are just under those lightshaft models.

I copied a shader off off a google search to make a transparent material with an emissive in the above picture. There is definitely a more correct way of masking the material, but with this you should be able to see the grid and get an okay-ish result with exports from the current version of the program. I also used cycles instead of EEVEE since emissives looked fuzzy otherwise

I have raid for the next 2 nights so I'm unlikely to have time to do anything until the weekend (sorry!). I'll probably add these options until I figure out what's the most accurate:
A. Bake the transparency into the texture and use the texture as a diffuse
B. Use the texture as an emissive and make the diffuse transparent

I'm working on baking the lightshaft textures so that it isn't opaque and is actually see-through like it's supposed to be. A lot of this is cross referencing with Meddle and kind of eyeballing/guesswork

Not 100% happy with it yet, could definitely be better especially in this case where the colors really blend in. I manually bumped the emission strength to 2 after and it looked a lot closer than how the actual arena looks

There's still a few issues I need to fix but I can probably get something out tomorrow with a "good enough" solution.

Another texture-related issue I spotted while exporting the UMAD P1 arena is that the repeating floor pattern seems way smaller than expected compared to ingame.
Let me know if you want me to open a new issue for this

This should be fixed in https://github.com/OTCompa/ZoneFbx/releases/tag/v1.0.20

Side note, I know the curved arena decorations don't look right, I'll see if I can figure out what's up with that next
