  • Dataset Search:

    • Search by Terms, specific Text
  • Refine the search by a set of filters and categories:

    • Organism
    • Tissue
    • Disease
    • Omics Type: Genomics, Metabolomics, Proteomics
    • Instrument Type
    • Type of experiment
    • Repository Name
    • Post-translational modification
    • Year

    Examples:
    - Find all data sets from Alzheimer’s patients that have RNA-seq (Researcher).
    - Proteomics datasets from 2014 in brain cancer that use Q-Exactive (Researcher).

  • It would be interesting to have statistics about repositories:

    • Datasets by Repository or Database
    • Datasets by Omics Type
    • Datasets by Tissue
    • Datasets by Disease and Tissue
  • A block box should be presented with the more frequently terms, they should be represented in two dimensions using repositories and field. Fields to be included:

    • Description
    • Title
    • Sample protocol
    • Data Protocol
  • The main menu should contain the following options:

    • The landing page with search boxes by different categories.
    • The browse should provide a way of searching by different words and filter the information
    • The Database page should contain all the databases included in the DDIndex
    • The Help Page
    • The API Page
  • The Dataset Page should contain information about each dataset

    • MorLikeThis option, a column with all the datasets close to the viewed dataset.
    • Description of the dataset
    • Title of the dataset
    • The publications related with the dataset (title, abstract, PUBMED ID, almetrics icon)
    • The protocols related with the dataset
