System hang on reboot/shutdown with Kernel 7.0.0-7 (Ubuntu 26.04) #26
Description
"Hi, I'm using this driver on an HP Laptop 15-fd0xxx with the new MT7902 chip. While it works on Kernel 6.19, Update on Wi-Fi behavior:
On Kernel 7.0.0-7, the Wi-Fi card (MT7902) is detected and I can even enter the WPA password. However:
It fails to actually connect or transmit data (no IP assigned).
After attempting to connect or deleting the connection, the system becomes unstable.
The most critical part: the system hangs completely during reboot or shutdown, requiring a hard power-off.
Everything works perfectly on Kernel 6.19 with the same driver source.
