Make Home Assistant meaningfully more approachable by reducing setup and early-use friction, so more users can successfully adopt it, while preserving its power and flexibility for advanced use.

How to measure:

• Use usertesting.com or similar to get people to set up Home Assistant
  • Fewer failure points during initial setup
  • Success rate increase to setup your first automation
• Launch an installer to make it easier to install HA
• Document building automations using the UI
• Allow gathering feedback on a per-documentation page
• Allow gathering feedback at the end of onboarding
• Measure how tech-savvy you have to be to use HA
  • Survey-based.
