I tried GitHub-Store. The concept is great, but the software is rather rough around the edges. The main issues I encountered during use are as follows:
- The interaction is poor; the mouse has no response when hovering over some areas but works on others, resulting in unstable feedback.
- The layout is not adapted in fullscreen mode, causing abnormal display.
- The search speed is very slow. It seems to fetch data from scratch every time it’s opened without local caching, and I often can’t find the software I want. In the end, I still have to go directly to GitHub.
- A translation feature would be nice, as the entire interface is in English and hard to understand.
- An option to set up a mirror site would be helpful, so downloads use the mirror by default.
When I was using it, I thought the project was made by Chinese developers, so I kind of took these features for granted.
体验了 GitHub-Store，感觉理念挺好的，但软件打磨得比较粗糙。使用过程中不太舒服的地方主要有这些：
- 交互不太好，有些地方鼠标放上去没反应，有些地方又有，反馈不稳定
- 全屏之后排版没有适配，显示不正常
- 搜索速度很慢，感觉每次打开都要重新访问，没有本地缓存，还经常搜不到想要的软件，最后还是只能直接上 GitHub
- 希望能加个翻译功能，界面全是英文看不懂
- 希望能加个填写镜像的地方，让下载默认使用镜像站
