Houdini python shell script to make all the HDAs viable in USD MaterialX subnet for Solaris

Hey, just sharing this python script which you can run in the Houdini python shell. It adds a materailX value to the vopnet mask and makes the Moonray material HDAs working in the usd materialX subnet. Sharing in case this might be helpful to anyone! :)

Hey Suriya, thanks! On the same boat about loving Houdini + Moonray! :)

This part already works for authoring of the materials which was the problem for me. Thanks to @kubo-von who sent me his h20.5 build and explained how to get the materials to work - tweaking the asset manager in Houdini and adding materialX value to the vopnet mask, this script is related to it (rather the automation to get it work).

Whenever you build Moonray, you can run this script in the Houdini Python Shell and it adds the materialX value to the vopnet mask, that's about it. It will expose the native Moonray nodes in the usd mtlx subnet, you've got the nodes exposed and can author materials that way.

Sorry if I didn't explain it properly when starting this discussion.

P.S.:
I've initially built Moonray w/ py311 for h21 but authoring materials was a bit of a kryptonite for me, was trying to create a translation for the native mtlx nodes by tweaking Materials.cc which was a hacky overengineered approach (normal map node would be an issue due to the structure) as I didn't know how to expose the OTLs.

Next step / problem I'd like to solve:
Assuming that you somehow came across this from the Slack chat, the "broken bayer-like imagery" was my attempt to force in AOV creation through python script in a node to encode USD from Solaris in such a way that the usd/Moonray translation happens and creates the exr with the passes.

(it's at the state of creating the exr metadata but with the incorrect outcome)

Linked to this discussion and the render buffer values.

Can create a new properly documented discussion with the scripts and document it properly, would be cool if we got it to work. Thought about checking the Moonray renderbuffer/solaris/hydra naming compatibility in this regard as one possible solution.

Think that it might be better to share things here on GitHub so it actually stays documented and as something others can fall back to.
