Welcome — read this before opening an issue

Hey — if you're here, you've probably got a WHOOP 4.0 that's out of subscription, or you're just curious what this thing does. Quick context on where the project's at and how to actually get help.

What this place is for. Bugs, install/pairing questions, ideas, whatever. Issues are for confirmed bugs with steps to reproduce — if you're not sure whether something's actually broken or you're just doing something wrong, post here first and we'll figure it out together.

Where things stand right now. I'm not actively adding new features at the moment — I want people to actually use this for a while and tell me what's broken before I pile more on top. So if you hit something weird, that's genuinely useful, please say something.

Before you post a bug, it helps to say:

• Which repo it's actually about — this app (edge), the protocol decoder, or the analytics. Not sure? Just post here, I'll redirect it.
• iOS or Android, and roughly which version.
• What you expected vs. what actually happened.

Sideloading the iOS build and it's not working? Check guides/IOS_SIDELOAD.md first — good chance it's the free-account 7-day cert expiry, or the widget/Live Activity thing that guide covers.

One thing that trips people up: don't reconnect your band to the official WHOOP app once you're using this one. A firmware push from their app could change the records this one depends on, and there's no fixing that from here.
