As of 2023-08-08 an update to Google Meet seems to break functionality

If you're able to load unpacked extensions on your computer you can consider using my fork of this repo. I don't believe the updates have made it into the published extension.

I've merged the fix and pushed an update to the Chrome Store that hopefully will address this. It should go live in the store in the next few days.
