pip intsall from docs fails but pip install -e . works

I got a failed to build wheel error when I tried to just run the

pip install git+https://github.com/phangsTeam/phangs_imaging_scripts.git

And while we're complaining, it doesn't work with 3.14 or 3.13 but
"The pipeline works in Python>=3.12, CASA>=6.7.3, and is pip installable"

Also to get the singledish going I needed to roll back over to monolothic casa which meant needing to put the repo in my PYTHONPATH and then pip install requests and pip install astroquery from the CASA shell.
