Epip removes the vanilla ability to keybind modifiers

When I disable Epip I can use shift+1 or ctrl+1, etc.

When Epip is re-enabled, they no longer work.

I cannot reproduce this on v1073; Options -> Controls -> binding ex. "Center camera" to shift + digit or ctrl + digit is possible for me and the binding works in game.

Which action are you binding specifically? For troubleshooting it would be helpful if you sent your Epip settings (Documents\Larian Studios\Divinity Original Sin 2 Definitive Edition\Osiris Data folder by default) in case it's caused by some specific setting.

Yes, this issue still exists in version v1074.
In short, it's impossible to use Shift + 1 (or any other key combination) to cast skills.
The problem lies with the skill bar, but Improved Hotbar is supported. It's important to note that the key binding settings are within the game's native "Controls" menu.
