[Feature Request]: Pop-up when Optimization (/Simulation) run is finished

What would your feature do ?

My MS Co-pilot provides pop-ups when the Researcher Agent is finished with thinking (which takes 15 mins appr.). I really like this because I always start doing other stuff when I am waiting for my Agent to run. This can be very useful for the DTK in general, especially when the models increase in size and computation time. This may increase productivity of users, as they are reminded asap when optimization runs are finished. I would like this addition in both the TPG front-end, and (but especially) in the Map Editor.

Proposed workflow

1. Go to ....
2. Press ....
3. ...

I just checked with @MarkTNO and this should already work (as long as you stay logged in in the MapEditor). Interesting to check why you don't get this @StanMegens

I do get a popup... you can also hide the sidebar and the popup still appears. The only thing is, if you move to another tab in the browser or even open another application, you might not notice it. As long as you keep on working in the MapEditor, you should see it...

I somewhere recognize the pop-up you are showing (so I don't think there are technical issues), but I think it has been only very few times that I actually saw it. This is because I normally don't proceed working in the Map Editor when waiting for an optimization run (I probably need/want the outcome of my run before I determine my next steps). Therefore I am often working in a different application (Outlook, MS Teams, Excel, ...) doing other work (in which I am then absorbed and I forget that I was waiting on a Simulation/Optimization run). The notification from MS Co-Pilot (Researcher agent) which I mentioned is shown regardless of the application I am working in, which then reminds me that I was working in the Map Editor and brings my focus back to the DTK. That is a significant difference for the positive impact it has on focus/productivity. So long story short, it would be great to see the pop-up in my Windows, regardless of the application I'm in.

It’s easy for Microsoft, to use windows notifications for their own Co-Pilot product. I’m not sure if we can do that from an application running in the browser. Maybe that’s possible too. We will have a look into that.

An alternative to windows notifications is browser notifications, which means that the mapeditor has to be loaded in the browser (can be in a background tab) for the notifications to be sent. Like Edwin said, we will evaluate options.
