Code of Conduct for QBDevelopment

Our Commitment

At QBDevelopment, we are committed to fostering a professional, respectful, and productive work environment. Whether you are the founder, product manager, team lead, or a developer, every member of our team plays a vital role in achieving our shared goals.

We strive to maintain clear and constructive communication across all channels, especially in Telegram, where we use project-specific subchannels (topics) for collaboration.


Standards of Behavior

Expected Behavior:

  • Maintaining respectful and constructive communication in the Telegram main channel and project-specific subchannels.
  • Providing clear, actionable feedback during code reviews and discussions.
  • Taking ownership of tasks and delivering work within agreed-upon deadlines.
  • Supporting team members in solving problems and achieving project goals.
  • Keeping all discussions focused and relevant to the specific project or topic.

Unacceptable Behavior:

  • Using offensive or unprofessional language in Telegram messages, comments, or code reviews.
  • Dismissing or belittling the ideas or contributions of others.
  • Sharing confidential information without permission from the founder or product manager.
  • Failing to communicate delays or obstacles in a timely manner.
  • Engaging in behavior that disrupts team workflows or undermines trust.

Scope

This Code of Conduct applies to:

  • Telegram main channel and subchannels (topics): All messages, discussions, and collaborations.
  • Code reviews: Feedback and discussions on code must remain professional and constructive.
  • Meetings and planning sessions: Both in-person and online.
  • External communications: Representing QBDevelopment in any capacity, including interactions with clients, partners, or stakeholders.

Reporting Issues

If you experience or witness behavior that violates this Code of Conduct:

  1. Contact the team lead (RAprogramm) or, if necessary, escalate the issue to the founder.
  2. All reports will be treated confidentially and reviewed with fairness.

Enforcement

Investigation:

  • Reports will be reviewed by the team lead, and if necessary, discussed with the founder and/or product manager.
  • Both parties involved will have an opportunity to provide their perspectives.

Possible Actions:

  • Informal Discussion: A private conversation to clarify behavior and expectations.
  • Written Warning: Documentation of the issue with a clear warning about future conduct.
  • Temporary Channel Restriction: Limited access to certain Telegram channels or subchannels.
  • Termination: In cases of severe or repeated violations, termination of the collaboration agreement.
