Unable to authenticate

I'm using an ipa of version 1.9.4 (1) on my jailbroken iPhone.
After entering the ip, port and credentials, it displays; Unable to authenticate - an unknown error occurred.

I double checked everything but it's still giving this error. The same credentials work fine in other remote/control apps for Qbit.

Would really like to use this app. Anything to fix this?

I get the same error. "unable to authenticate, an unknown error occurred"
It shows the host is online, and if you click Open UI, it can access the webui... but it's very difficult to use on an iphone.
It's been like this for years. Hopefully the dev will fix soon.
