We just open-sourced qmax-code — the AI testing agent for your terminal.

After months of internal use at QualityMax, the full source is now public under the Functional Source License (FSL-1.1-ALv2). Free for all non-competing use. Converts to Apache 2.0 automatically two years after each release.

What is qmax-code?

qmax-code is a terminal AI agent with 49 tools for test automation — crawling apps, generating Playwright tests, running them on the cloud, self-healing failures, analyzing repos, creating PRs. You describe what you want in plain English and Max figures it out.
