I'm grateful for all the users this project garnered over the years! Unfortunately I haven't been using Node.js for a while now and my contributions to this project have been limited to fixing compilation issues whenever Node.js version updates.

Node.js v12 made a large change to the APIs that finally pushed me over the edge. I contacted the discordjs project in the hope that they would implement and maintain a better supported Opus package, which they did in the form of @discordjs/opus.

I hope that implementation will serve the Node.js community better than whatever this (yet again) broken thing is. :)
