Web-888 hardware problem? #81

Hello,

I have what I suspect is a hardware problem with my Web-888.

It happens – increasingly often now – that no stations/signals can be received.
For example, the LW station on 225 kHz can no longer be received. Only some incomprehensible strange mirror frequencies?
Strangely enough, in this case the temperature suddenly jumps from around 37°C to 42°C.
And the message ‘audio overrun’ appears in the status window.
However, there are also times when the Web-888 runs without any problems.

The location of the Web-888 is the same as when it was running without any problems. There are no unusually high temperatures there either – approx. 30–32°C.

The antenna is the same and works without any problems via a 2-way RF distributor on a KiwiSDR 2. The antenna connections and cables have been checked.

I have tried different firmware versions – the problem keeps recurring.

The fan has been replaced – a Noctua fan is now running in the Web-888.

The Web-888 responds to the RF attenuator and also to the ADC gain setting.

What could be the problem here?

Regards, Steffen
