Riftbound API application — 6+ months pending, launching May 8

I submitted a Riftbound API key application in November 2025.
It has been 5+ months with no response — no approval,
no rejection, no feedback despite multiple support tickets.

I am launching a free EU Riftbound companion app (Riftr)
on May 8, 2026, synchronized with the Unleashed set release.

I am aware of similar cases from other developers:

• Issue Riftbound API KEY stuck in pending review for 5 months #1122 (5 months pending, January 2026)
• Issue Production API Key Request - Pending Review For About 3 Months #1105, [Application Review] Production Key Pending 45+ Days - Honorus (ID: 767749) #1126, Production Key Pending #1127, [Application Review] Production API Key #1139

Well the "reaching out" would likely just be a straight DMCA takedown which probably won't look great when it comes to your prod key application, its your risk to take :)

I'm comfortable with the risk. Full LJJ
compliance, no gameplay simulation, correct
disclaimer throughout. Fingers crossed Riot

Full LJJ compliance also covers not releasing unauthorised applications in line with the API terms and policies on the developer portal, so by your own definition you aren't actually full LJJ compliant

Fair point, that's a known grey area and I'm aware of it. I've had an application pending since October 2025 with no response.
At some point you have to make a call. I'd rather launch and cooperate with Riot if they reach out than wait indefinitely for a broken review system. But you are totally right, i appreciate your call.
