Why not use Wails menu?

Why are you using menu like that? Why not use menu from Wails?

It avoids inconsistent theming on Windows that causes the menu bar to mismatch the rest of the app. I'd much rather have Wails handle the menu if this wasn't a concern.

Ah, makes sense. Would you like FreeBSD support? My fork adds FreeBSD support for v2. You can fork under your username and modify namespace.

There's a lot of comments on the PR but that doesn't mean it wouldn't fall under the "community supported" category 👍

Am also looking at dark mode menus right now for Window 🚀

I didn't go through all of them but some of the PR's comments about memory issues are for memory that's created in go and freed in C which is something that already happens in the existing code. So I personally wouldn't consider those to be big concerns.

@leaanthony, I'm glad to hear that dark mode is being worked on. I'll likely be revisiting my menus on this project once that's ready.
