Hi and thanks for writing this script.
I've noticed it's not been updated since around 2016 but I see quite a lot of potential in this.
I've been tweaking with a local copy of your code to support SQL2016 and also add a few extra scripts (Brent Ozar's Blitz for example).
Although fiddly, it's coming together (my Excel VBA macro knowledge is very much lacking!).
A few bugs I noticed in the "WaitStats" script timing out which I fixed by adding a custom timeout to the powershell command.
Do you have any want or intention to continue this project? If so, I'd be happy to collaborate and improve with you.
Ideas like:
- Option to loop through all DBs in an instance rather than individual list
- Output to HTML (potentially PDF)
- Graphs and Charts
- Security audit
My thought was a tool building off your scripts to include useful info for business and end users but in a more up-to-date method if that makes sense?
Really hope you get to see this and respond friend.
Kind regards,
Sol
