I understand your frustration with buying a product that was abandoned. I also had lifetime license and was disappointed that the project was abandoned and add-ons like the domain seller add-on were never released. You probably know I am in no way connected to original developer, Arindo. The money you paid for the lifetime membership went all to him. I'm been trying to contact him about helping with transitioning to the new project but he's not responded. He was in a terrible car accident and ever since he's ghosted everyone related to WP Ultimo. So we're moving forward with the new name. I did save all the addons to this google drive you can download all the original work you purchased there. Most of them work with Ultimate Multisite. I try to keep backwards compatibility as much as possible so none are broken intentionally. If you find one that does not work let me know and I'll add some compatibility code in the core plugin. I worked thousands of hours to get WP Ultimo to a state where it could be included in the wordpress.org plugin repository. Since Sept 2025 I've been working full time on Ultimate Multisite and you probably have seen some of the new addons. The domain seller addon as well as the email addon. I'm afraid I can't give these away. But I would be willing to give a discount for those that had purchased WP Ultimo. Contact me I would be willing to offer a discount for existing WP Ultimo users. If you are interested let me know and I'll give you a coupon code. I do not want to offer lifetime licenses as I believe these actually hurt WP Ultimo in the long run. Being a niche product there was not enough new customer coming in to fund the development of new features for WP Ultimo. When everyone buys a lifetime license the revenue dries up. For those that make significant contributions to the project I have provided better discounts so if you have time to help with documentation or bug fixes or new features let me know. I hope this all make sense, Let me know if you have any questions. |

As Ultimate Multisite is now open-source and not moved to another private company, I assume the answer is 'no'.
However, I had a lifetime license from WP Ultimo and while I can still get it from Freemius, I doubt I can get the addons.
I wanted to ask, what is the possibility of:
I'm aware that I'm probably asking a lot, but there were several plugins with WPU that are needed should anyone wish to migrate, and I wonder if being part of this now open-source project, would allow someone to be brought in (or brought up to a equal level) of what they had before? So that they can then continue and contribute.
I don't know how many lifetime subs WPU had, but for those of us left that have it, and use it, an 'update' to just the add-on versions are available now, would be amazing, even if it's a one-off, so that we can get started re-building, and when we want updates for the add-ons, we can get them.
