[Feature]: Changes to the app selector

Proposal

This is what the app selector of the original extension from sakithb looked like

Enabling the user to switch between playing apps with a single click.
I'm requesting for the app selector to be similar to it while having up-to-date looks.

Motivation

Currently the playing apps are collapsed into a single pill(not sure if it is the correct term) and to change the playing app one first has to expand this pill and then click on the app to switch to.

IMO this is unnecessary hassle as most people would be having two or three playing apps most of the time so it is better to access them with a single click.

Expected behavior

• Make playing apps visible without the need to expand the pill.
• use icons only like the old extension
• and app selector isn't present when only a single app is playing and shows the app name with it's icon, as usual.

The pill could still be used if there many playing apps(e.g more than 3).

Displaying this menu as a list or grid would take up too much space in the popup when have various media sessions, which is why I used an expandable popup.

However, I acknowledge that the issue you mentioned is real; I could explore using gestures within the popup to address it.

I’ll consider a redesign in the future to handle PWA tabs as well.

A useful tip: you can configure a mouse gesture or keybind to switch between apps with active media sessions—why not give that a try? :)
