logOut() errror

When i press the button "Log Out" I get an error saying "req#logout requires a callback function", if anyone can help

The logout passport function recently changed to asynchronous release announcement

Here is how I implemented it:

app.delete('/logout', (req, res) => {
    req.logout(function(err){
      if(err){
         return next(err); 
      }
      res.redirect('/login');
    })
  })
