Is there a way to allow a WebHare backend user to set their language to German?

Probably not, In /Users/wouter/m/system/lib/screens/userrights/support.whlib I'm seeing:

The next thing might be to add a setting to my application where user can select German as language and then use SetTidLanguage to set the interface to German? WebHare interface in English, CRM in German, basically.

No, as the core apps are not available in German. We don't even have the common tollium/system texts in German (and noone committed to maintaining them). So all apps would be in a mixed languages.

Probably. Might need to use a startmacro= to set language early enough. Wonder if supportedlanguages="de" on an app would do anything useful
