I'm a founder working in Applied AI across the creative industries, with a background in theoretical physics. I grew up just north of Oxford, formerly the UK's largest village. I'm a fan of the deeply underrated sport of scrambling.

• 🔨 I'm currently building Versey.ai — Cursor for writing. Increasing the world's knowledge by making quality writing effortless.
• 🛠 Previously, I built Workflow Design, centralised feedback for web & design work, and was CEO leading our 40 person team across six offices at Rota, one of the UK's largest on-demand staffing marketplaces — 3,000 staff placed weekly, raising wages along the way.
• 🎤 I've spoken about AI at conferences including UX Brighton 2024 (opening keynote, 700 people), SXSW London, Product Design Week and various podcasts.
• 📚 I'm an avid reader with an unreasonable bookshelf. I once gave away 400+ books. Most of them have somehow found their way back.
• 🏃 I do ultra-long-distance events — including running 100km in 24 hours.
• 💬 I've coached executives and run support groups for young men.
• 😅 Fun fact: As a kid, I designed the art for video games. I once did a solo research tour of Vietnam and picked up dengue fever as a souvenir.
