Hi Adam

Thanks for all your effort on this - it's been working wonderfully, however I am now getting this error when I look at live logging, can you help?

The lights don't function, but in the app they look like they turn on then off again immediately

Hi Adam,

Just wondering if you got this code to work? I've just loaded it up and I'm getting the same error. I added a log.debug comment to either side of the two SendCommand lines, the message before the command gets logged in simulator mode however the one following does not. The HttpResponse error comes when I'm expecting the log.debug after the SendCommand which suggests that the command fails and the code stops, but I could be totally wrong.

I fixed it by purchasing another pi, the two programmes are using the same port and this wont work on one pi, by using two you can get over it Andy

Hi guys,

I'm new to SmartThings programming and this is my first attempt to setup the LightwaveRF Integration.

I have run into the same error as Andy (groovyx.net.http.HttpResponseException: Not Found @ line 62). It looks to me like the page getsessionkey.php doesn't exist on the lightwaverfhost.co.uk site.

I'm confused about @andyweight Pi comment, as I thought this would work as a cloud-to-cloud solution (I appreciate there will be some lag using this method, but wanted to try this first) and doesn't require running a Pi.

Any help would be appreciated.

Hi Chris,

Smartthings talks to IFTTT and IFTTT talks to Lightwaverf so if you are coding using webcore then controlling Lightwaverf is very simple, no need for a Pi. If all this sound mumbo jumbo then get back to me and I'll send you some pointers.

I already have an IFTTT account setup, but so far have only used some pre-made applets. I don't know anything about webcore, so I just read the wiki page on how to install it on SmartThings and I think I can get that installed OK.

I could do with some pointers after that point as I don't really know what to do next.

I'll give you a specific use-case that I would like to setup...

I already have rules setup in SmartThings which set the mode to Goodnight/Night time automatically and I would also like to have it turn off certain LightWaveRF switches. What do I need to do to achieve this?

I'd really appreciate a few pointers on how each part of the software would talk to each other as I don't really know where webcore fits into the picture.
