`make install` installs empty $prefix/share/aclocal directory

make install installs an empty directory $prefix/share/aclocal, which is not needed.

This is likely related to m4/Makefile.am - I'll be happy to merge a patch if you have one.
otherwise it'll be a bit longer until I get to it.
