PLPCO Access Map 2.0 Application Modernization #1043

Description

@chriswnek

Benefit

The Public Lands Policy Coordinating Office (PLPCO), in partnership with UGRC, requires upgrades and modernization to the existing Access Map application (accessmap.utah.gov/internal).

The goal of Access Map 2.0 is to transition the application from a passive video-viewing tool into an advanced, legally defensive Decision Support System.

Acceptance Criteria (in order of priority)

  • Incorporate an “Add data” button that will allow a user to add their own, temporary data or layer to the web map.
  • Create an Attribute Table View of the RS2477 Road Centerline Data, that has advanced filter options. The filters in the table would allow the end user to filter through different fields and filter out data on the map, i.e. the filter could only show certain county road data or query data based on attribute fields. The queried data is to also be available to be exported as a csv file.
  • "Historical Map Stack" Toggle System
    • Build a performant, toggleable historical map layer architecture to allow users to view Historical Aerial Imagery hosted by UGS and Topo Maps that are hosted by USGS Topo Viewer. We can talk to ESRI, as they have previously built this tool, but the custom ESRI Application is no longer working.
  • Bug fix: Enhanced Search Features
    • Related Records are not showing up if you use the Search Feature, you need to click on the map in order for the full popup to show all related records.
    • Need to Search by RD_ID, County Unique and Generic Place search.
