AIDDLC Standard v1.0 · 10QBIT Technologies
AIDDLC certification is issued by 10QBIT Technologies following a review of an evidence package submitted by the applicant. The process is designed to be thorough but not bureaucratic: we want capable teams to achieve certification, and we will help where we can.
Review the criteria:
- Engineering Track Conformance — for any team implementing the AIDDLC Engineering Track
- Product Track Conformance — for teams implementing the Product Track
- Regulated Conformance — if you are in a regulated industry
You may apply for Engineering Track only, Product Track only, or both. Regulated Conformance extends Engineering Track and cannot be applied for independently.
If you are uncertain which level applies, describe your implementation in your application email and we will advise.
Work through the Self-Assessment Checklist before preparing your evidence package.
The self-assessment is not a formality. It is designed to identify gaps before you invest time in preparing evidence. Common gaps we find in reviews: post-hoc gate approvals, missing AI attribution in artifacts, incomplete Deviation Registers, and Compliance Matrices that were not updated beyond Phase 1.
Completing the self-assessment with honest assessment of each item is more valuable than a self-assessment where every item is marked "Met." We are not looking for perfect implementations — we are looking for genuine ones.
Your evidence package must include:
Required for all applications:
- Completed Self-Assessment Checklist (with evidence notes)
- Complete Context Package for one completed development cycle (all seven phases)
- Gate documentation for all seven phases
- Deviation Register (or signed zero-deviation declaration)
- Audit log sample: a representative 30-day period during Phase 5 (Build)
- AI attribution examples from a minimum of three different artifacts
Required for Regulated Conformance (in addition to the above):
- Compliance Matrix (Phase 1 version, with update history)
- Signed Compliance Sign-off document
- Human Oversight Protocol (with Compliance Officer approval annotation)
- Dissemination evidence for the Human Oversight Protocol (training records or acknowledgement log)
- Retention policy documentation
Format: There is no required format. PDF, Markdown, Word, or a link to a version-controlled repository are all acceptable. The evidence must be legible and organised.
Redaction: Commercially sensitive information may be redacted, but the structure and regulatory content must be intact. We review compliance evidence, not business strategy.
Email your evidence package to certification@aiddlc.ai.
Subject line format: AIDDLC Certification Application — [Your Organisation Name] — [Certification Level]
Example: AIDDLC Certification Application — Acme Health Ltd — Regulated Conformance
You will receive an acknowledgement within 3 business days confirming receipt and your position in the review queue.
The Architectural Board reviews evidence packages in order of receipt, with priority for founding cohort applications.
Review timelines:
- Founding cohort: target 10 business days from receipt of complete evidence package
- Standard: target 15 business days from receipt of complete evidence package
During review, we may:
- Request clarification on specific items (you have 5 business days to respond)
- Request additional evidence for items where the submitted evidence is insufficient
- Schedule a 30-minute call to discuss the implementation (for complex or novel implementations)
Clarification requests extend the review timeline by the time taken to respond, plus 5 business days for re-review.
If certification is granted: You receive a certificate (PDF) containing your Certificate ID, certification level, industry vertical, date of issue, and expiry date (24 months from issue). Your organisation is added to the certified organisations register unless you request otherwise.
If certification is not granted: You receive a written decision explaining the specific requirements that were not met and what would be required to satisfy them. You may reapply after addressing the identified gaps. There is no limit on reapplication.
Certification expires 24 months from the date of issue.
Renewal evidence:
- Post-Deployment Report from a development cycle completed within the 24-month period
- Updated Self-Assessment Checklist
- Statement of any changes to role assignments or process since initial certification
Renewal applications should be submitted at least 30 days before expiry. We will send a reminder 60 days before expiry.
Renewal timeline: target 10 business days from receipt of complete renewal package.
Certification costs are provided on application. We are committed to keeping certification accessible.
Founding cohort pricing is available for the first ten applications and is discounted from the standard rate. Contact certification@aiddlc.ai to enquire.
Pricing principles:
- Pricing is per implementation review, not per organisation size
- Renewal is priced lower than initial certification
- Founding cohort members receive renewal at founding cohort pricing for the life of their certification
We do not publish pricing publicly because we want to ensure it is appropriate to the organisation's context. A small startup and an enterprise deploying multiple implementations will have different pricing conversations.
