[Feature]: Option to display more than one row of containers and add detailed menu to containers that appear in dropdown expansion menu

Problem statement

Containers that appear in the main row of containers that are displayed get the nice looking menu below when clicking on them:

When you too many containers that dont fit in the visible row and you have to click on the dropdown expansion arrow, when you click on the cotnainer you get the limited options menu like below:

Proposed solution

Allow for a customizable option to add as many rows as you want.

Also, for people that dont want to use that feature allow for containers that appear in the dropdown list to have the full nicer looking menu when clicking on them.

Thank you for the quick work! The multi rows works but when there is multi rows the divider doesnt show between containers:

When there is just a single row the divider shows but its aligned to the bottom instead of being aligned in the center of the table with a small gap on top and bottom of the divider. Also, there should be a bit of space between the right of the container menu(3 lines icon) and the divider in the image you can see the divider sits up against the right side of the container menu:

I tried enabling the boxed chevron but the setting just doesn't save. I tried hard refresh and clearing browser history but saving the chevron choice doesnt work.

I pushed the latest fixes into the new stable release. Release: 2026.03.23.33

Make sure to Ctrl+Shift+F5 and clear cache on ALL pages tested.

This should now include:

• multi-row Docker previews with richer per-container actions
• divider rendering/spacing fixes in preview rows
• boxed chevron persistence fixes
• single-row Docker/VM preview alignment fixes
• the recent folder editor control cleanup tied to these preview settings

Can you test the latest stable build and verify:

1. Multi-row Docker previews still render correctly for your folders
2. Containers shown in expanded/dropdown views have the expected actions
3. Divider spacing/visibility still looks right
4. Boxed chevron style saves and stays applied after reopening the folder
5. Single-row previews in Docker/VMs are aligned correctly again

If anything is still off, post an updated screenshot and note whether it’s Docker or VMs and whether the folder is using single-row or multi-row preview mode.

Multi rows have divider between containers, also chevron outline works now. One small suggestion, since the full container name is being concatenated, can the dividers for each row line up that way each row is symmetrical regardless of how long the container name is? This seems to already work with containers that don't have long names like below the n8n & immich-power-tools line up perfectly, it would be nice if they all could.

Single rows the divider is still locked to the botton border instead of being centered within the border box. There is more space now between the menu icon and the divider, however I think the contents of each container should be centered within its section?

What I mean is that each container should be centered within its "box" meaning the first container should be centered with the left border and the divider, second container should be centered with divider on its left and divider on its right etc... I might be being too ocd about it but visually I would think it would like better and more consistent if each container was centered within its "box". In the example below it would mean there is equal space between the left border and the plex icon and equal space between the menu icon and the divider etc... Again this might be too ocd, but this plugin in amazing and little things like that really put a shine on this project.

One other thing to make it look visually symmetrical is if the dividers on each row could align with the row above/below it like in the example below how n8n & immich-power-tools already do. This seems to already work to a degree by default with shorter names like n8n and immich-power-tools but breaks with longer container names like the nextcloud aio containers that have very long names, the long names are already being concatenated which is good but the divider isn't aligned.

Still working on your request, I had a lot of bugs to iron out after the new UI for the folder editor broke everything.

It might take a bit to fully implement properly tho.
