@hi-zcy : He's going to merge these features to master branch soooon...
Status: Closed – Web Client Removed
Following the previous issue (#7), we made multiple attempts to stabilize and improve the web interface.
Over several iterations and extensive testing, we introduced significant architectural changes to address recurring issues. Some of these modifications were substantial and, in many ways, revolutionary for the web version.
Unfortunately, despite our efforts, we were unable to fully resolve all stability and communication-related problems.
After carefully evaluating the long-term maintenance cost and sustainability between maintaining a web service and focusing on the local application, we made the decision to remove the web client from the project.
Access to Previous Versions
If you would still like to use the original web version:
Please check out the master branch for the most stable release.
If you're interested in our early GUI attempts, feel free to explore the canary branch.
If you'd like to try the latest GUI features, visit features/gui.
⚠ Important Notes
For maximum stability
→ The master branch remains the safest and most reliable choice.
For GUI with reasonable stability
→ The canary branch offers a safer experimental experience.
For the newest GUI improvements
→ The features/gui branch fixes many issues found in canary,
however, we cannot fully guarantee the security and stability of backend–frontend communication in this version.
Final Thoughts
We sincerely appreciate the community’s patience and support.
While the web interface did not reach the level of reliability we expected, the lessons learned have significantly improved our overall architecture.
We remain committed to delivering a stable and high-quality local application experience.
🔔 NOTICE: Update on v2.0.0-BATA GUI
