[🐞 BUG] #211

@HemalR

Description

@HemalR

Describe the bug
When the shortcut for dictation includes a letter, the pasted output has the letter as well as what was transcribed so for example I have hyper D as my shortcut the output ends up being the letter D followed by whatever I transcribed.

Funnily enough, it doesn't happen every time. It is sporadic

To Reproduce
Set the shortcut to include a letter to be held down while dictating and attempt to dictate something. Sometimes the final output will have the leading character be the letter of the keyboard shortcut. There is a chance that might be related to external keyboards.

Expected behavior
Hyper D as my keyboard shortcut should not have 'd' as the leading pasted text

Environment:

  • macOS Version: 15.6.1
  • App Version: latest
  • Architecture: Apple Silicon
