Issue with special characters

There is issue with special characters like آ ء which they get removed.

You must replace ([^ا-ی۰-۹a-z0-9]|-)+ with ([^\x{0600}-\x{06FF}a-z0-9]|-)+.

With the regexp ا-ی you’re allowing to use Unicode chars range from 1575 to 1740! [more info].
some evil chars like ـــً٭٬ are in that range so can be used in your slugs!
