[Bug]: Allowing only invited users to register is not working

Description

Even after disabling the option "Allow only invited users to register" in settings/authentication/form-login, it still shows the option "Don't have an account? Sign up" in /user/login.

I'm using Easy Panel with Docker and I also added the following to the environment variables:
APPSMITH_SIGNUP_DISABLED=true
but it didn't work.

I just came accross this issue, because I'm also having problems with the environment variable APPSMITH_SIGNUP_DISABLED. So here are my thoughts on this:

The problem you describe seems to be a feature, as described in the documentation:

This is useful when you want to restrict access to your Appsmith instance, allowing only users who have been specifically invited to join. The signup page continues to show up but throws an error when a user tries to sign up.

This works in theory, but in reality only if you set the right settings:

Setting the environment variable to true doesn't work for me. It appears to be ignored, just like other environment variables that, in my experience, do not update the settings in the UI, but that's another topic. However, setting the option in the UI does work. When attempting to register, the error message shown above appears.
