Hi. I installed BASE9 and one problem appeared.
MakeCMD:

alex@alex-System-Product-Name:~/Downloads/base-9.5.0/BUILD/simCluster$ makeCMD

*** Error: Output file hyades/Mcmc.ms could not be opened.***

simCluster:

alex@alex-System-Product-Name:~/Downloads/base-9.5.0/BUILD/simCluster$ ./simCluster
Seed: 1288504018
Reading models... Done.


File hyades/Mcmc.sim.out was not available for writing - exiting

What should I do with that kind of problem? I've already installed all the necessary models.

Hi Alex - hyades/Mcmc.ms is probably written into the base9.yaml file as it is unlikely you chose that file name. Did you create a directory called ‘hyades’? By the way, what are you working on and how do you plan to use BASE-9?
