Not displaying the Local_Key

Tried both with eFamilyCloud 1.0.8 and Tuya Smart Life 2.9.7.

When I install and run the app, it only displays devId: localkey

When I search eFamilyCloud & Tuya Smart Life 1.abj for occurrences of localkey or local_key it comes back with nothing, the device id though is listed numerous times. I can provide my 1.abj from both applications if required?

Any ideas?

I'm wondering if they've updated the app and removed the key from the logging.

I'll reinstall when I get a chance and see if I can recreate the issue.

I've managed to source the previous APK versions so will try each one to find which version broke the localkey (local_key) logging. For your info the URL is - https://apkpure.com/efamilycloud/com.efamily.cloud

For info, when I built this and tested on my emulator. All it took to get the key to show up in the log was to install and sign in, then tap a device from the list.

In fact, I'll boot up my emulator when I'm home and tell you what version is installed on that as it won't have updated since then.

What emulator did you use BTW?

The version I have on my emulator is 1.0.7. The version on my phone is not showing the new devices I've added so I suspect they have removed the 'feature' in their code that writes the key to the log file.

Cheers, I installed 1.0.3 on my handset and it worked a treat. Do you by any chance have intermittent issues with HA not communicating with your Smart Life/Tuya device?

I've not used HA for my bulbs, I'm only using HA so I can run scripts from Alexa

The app only works with v 1.0.7 or older of the eFamilyCloud app

I understand it only works with 1.0.7 and older but I start I am "forced" to upgrade ti a newer version or it does not log in.
Any solution?

I've just tried this myself today and I have the same issue. Couldn't get it working. I'd suggest looking at this repo https://github.com/codetheweb/tuyapi to see if you can get your keys another way.
