How to flash the bootloader #8

Hi. This is a fantastic project. However, I'm not entirely sure how to flash the bootloader. I'm new to Arduino projects. I assembled the entire keyboard. I read the warning about soldering diodes and switches after I finished the assembly. I bought a USBasp programmer, but I couldn't find a clear guide on how to flash the Plaid bootloader with it.
Could you provide instructions on your experience flashing the bootloader? Where should I connect the programmer pins? Should I use a programmer at all, or do I need an Arduino Uno?
