1. problem with installing daml-sdk after git clone
2. when make install-daml-sdk, within the quickstart directory, corresponding Makefile does not have this target

I directly went to the github to inspect the Makefile within the quickstart, there also there is no make target for install-daml-sdk

falling back to dpm

I have successfully installed nixos using following command
I did it with non-root user
sh <(curl -L https://nixos.org/nix/install) --daemon
