I just tried your addon, since I'm missing the typical push/pull from Sketchup in Blender.
It seems to work great in Blender 2.8, but there seems to be a problem with the new vertices. In solid rendering, they are not selectable (they are visible, but stay black). With wireframe rendering they are selectable as intended.
