Cannot select Slippi Desktop App folder on Linux

I tried:

• downloading the AppImage, extracting it and pointing slippipedia to it
• installing the slippi-launcher-bin AUR and pointing slippipedia to various folders that this installed
• creating a fake Slippi Desktop folder with all executables, resources etc and pointing slippipedia to it
  All of them failed unfortunately.

What exactly is slippipedia looking for so that i can provide it with it?

Hi, this is a known issue, it is currently not implemented for Linux. It is looking for the playback dolphin executable, with .app suffix on macOS and .exe otherwise (https://github.com/cbartsch/Slippipedia/blob/master/qml/Slippipedia/model/DataModel.qml#L38)

Will fix this for the next version such that playback also works on Linux.

(maybe it's possible to create a symlink of the playback dolphin with .exe suffix in the meantime)

I can confirm that I got playback working by spoofing the file:

I also had to create a symlink to my .config dir to be able to even select ~/.config/Slippi Launcher in slippipedia because the qt file browser had no way to display hidden files (lol).

Unfortunately frame dumping doesn't seem to be working (i suspect due to issues with the bundled ffmpeg, but could also be lytedev/slippi-nix#30).
