Reset Project
Sometimes, the Unity library or the Rider IDE connection gets corrupted. Deleting the library, the sln and all csproj files can help.
Also, projects and library data accumulates, even when no longer used (e.g. packages that have been removed).
In rare cases, the window layout file becomes corrupted and needs to be deleted.
When switching git branches the Library can sometimes become corrupted.
