We are using this package for several client sites and protecting staging environments, however, it doesn't appear that is is maintained.

Is this still maintained or should we be creating a fork for our usage going forward?

I have published a fork to packagist and will continue to maintain it going forward, since I am heavily using this package commercially:

I have also requested Laravel Shift recreate #13 so that I can test and merge in Laravel 12 compatibility.
