Contributing to Codrops

Welcome and thank you for your interest in contributing! We're excited to collaborate with creatives like you! Here's a guide on how to get started:

1. We'll create an account for you on Codrops once you let us know your email, and you will receive an email from wordpress@codrops.com (make sure to check your spam folder). Let us know if you can log in successfully.

2. Complete your profile: Add social links, your bio and an image to your profile here.

3. Please get familiar with the writing tools available in this guide.

4. We'd love for you to write the article in your own words. Only use AI to help polish or clarify things when really needed. Please don't stress if your English isn't perfect. What matters most to us is your voice, your story, and your authenticity.

5. Please note that, unless specifically approved, your article must not be republished on other platforms in a similar or identical form, meaning it cannot reuse the same text, structure, or main content as the Codrops version.

6. Pick a submission date: To enter our publication pipeline, please select a date from this calendar (it’s not a real meeting). The date you choose will serve as your official submission date, and we’ll reserve a publication slot within the following two weeks. You're welcome to submit your article any time before your selected date.

7. Follow the relevant guide:

8. Once you are ready, just hit the submit button and let us know that your article is ready for review :) We'll polish everything up and get it ready for publication.

9. We'd appreciate if you could create your own post on social media, this will help spread your work more efficiently.
