Deploy jobtype, create local connection profile and am able to successfully run Dataflow jobs. Then attempt to deploy connection profile via Automation API but cannot do so successfully. So, I export the existing, successful conneciton profile and then try to build/deploy without making any modifications and that fails. Here is the screen shot:
