Sub-items in the menu cannot be selected

The sub-items in the menu cannot be selected. The side menu is simply closed and the map is displayed.

Sounds similar to this issue I had. It went away and we never figured out how or why: #354 (comment)

Okay just tried it, cleaned all Caches and Data and now I can reproduce it.

After clicking click through the welcome screen and permissions the map is blank except for coastlines, my and a few other bike icons.
Android's swipe up gesture to switch to another app does not work, back gestures do nothing. Other functions seem to work.

After I closed the app once in the Android tasks overview (Swipe up from bottom, swipe up on Critical maps) and then restart it, the menu and task switching gesture works as intended. Map still mostly blank, maybe that needs more time to load on my older device 🤔

My suspect would be the welcome screen / permission overlay screens leaving something left over or in a state it is not supposed to be.
