use root as pwd/choose a specific folder

Hello,
Is there a way to automatically use the root of the project.
Or, at least, provide a specific "pwd"

The root is the working directory. So just do

:cd /path/to/working/directory

or start neovim from the root directory. There are also "project-type" plugins which have their own ways of detecting your project's root and doing that cd for you. There are several different ways to set up projects and different plugins have their own opinions on that. It's not in the scope of this plugin to set your working directory.

Or maybe you want to have your working directory be one thing, and then your search root be something else? That would be pretty unusual though.

Yes, I maintain a config at work and multiple people have the workflow of starting nvim in one folder but search must be from the root folder. If we change with :cd, things like :Make etc. will not act as expected.
