About hardware tethering when using 32-bit python.

We had been using pyarmor 9.2.3 with 32-bit python (for some legacy reasons) and had no problems tethering to hardware using the "-b" gen argument. At some point we upgraded to 9.2.5 and we are now finding that pyarmor gen does not work. Is there a way around that, or are we safe to just switch back to version 9.2.3?
