I also have this issue. It appears that the version of the library actually published does not have the additional undefined check in the if statement. The code in the repo includes this and prevents this error.

So instead of if (!args.id && machines.length === 1) the code in the repo says if (!args.id && machines && machines.length === 1)

How can this be published/updated?

I have this issue too. I would manually create a confi.json file, but no matter where I put it, it does not seem to work. Any help n this would be appreciated.

I was able to resolve this by updating the code in the installed npm package under AppData to include && machines as solsystemlabs described above. I'm curious why the code in the published repo is correct, but the isntalled code is not.
