The Spirit Classic parser is now ancient, and will be troublesome to maintain. Currently uses a hacked version of 1.8.5 (not even final version).
Long-term: Logical replacement is new Boost.Parser library, which is the successor to the Spirit parsers. In the absence of a known issue with parsing, this will, however, involve a lot of work for no obvious gain.
