Feature Description
Please add the ability to select a local directory to index and play music files stored on an external SD card or the local device.
Problem Statement
I am using Musly on an Android DAP with a local library on an external SD card. While I am online, the streaming piece works awesome and the UI is fantastic. But I don't currently have a way to point the app to local files on that SD card for offline playback.
Proposed Solution
A toggle or source option in the settings that opens a standard Android folder picker. The app would then index the flac, opus, and/or mp3's found in that directory along with the existing server metadata.
Example flow:
1 - Open a folder picker
2 - Select the root of the music folder on an SD card or the local device
3 - Have Musly index those files into the existing UI merged with the Subsonic/Navidrome library
Alternatives Considered
I tried downloading some files to the DAP but there doesn't seem to be a way to do it en-mass and must be done song-by-song at the moment
